Using LEGOs in therapy is an evidence-based approach used to develop social skills, communication, and emotional regulation. LEGOs are highly motivating, playful, and non-threatening, making them ideal for individuals who struggle with traditional talk therapy or have speech delays. For Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), LEGOs help develop "joint attention," non-verbal communication, and flexible thinking. For Anxiety and Trauma, LEGOs provides a tactile, calming distraction that makes it easier for clients to open up about difficult topics or emotions and for ADHD, LEGOs train executive functions like sustained attention, working memory, and self-regulation.
